Thank you for considering applying to our Master of Science: Biology program.

Please note that the deadline for the Master of Science: Biology program is March 15, 2009 if you are to be guaranteed consideration for funding. You will be able to apply to our Master of Science: Biology program after March 15, 2009 and until April 30, 2009. After March 15, 2009, you may be considered for funding.

In order to complete your application, you will need to ensure that you complete the following steps:

1) complete the online application;
2) print out and sign two copies of the PDF file of your completed online application form;
3) print out any information on, and/or forms for, completing and submitting your supplementary documents;
4) submit and ensure your application payment is processed by the Ontario Universities’ Application Centre (OUAC); and
5) send your completed application (the two signed copies of the PDF file of your completed application form together with all supplementary documents) to:

Have you already applied for graduate studies at UBC? You will need to contact the program to which you applied. The individual programs at UBC review with their own admissions and decide on which students they wish to admit. I would be happy to forward your email on to the secretary of the program to which you applied but you do not indicate in your email which branch of biology you are hoping to study (Botany, Zoology, etc.). However, if you have applied already you should have the contact information of the program and I would suggest that you contact them directly in order to receive the fastest response.
