We hope that you are in the process of issuing your visa to Ireland. Below is some information about how you book accommodation & airport transfer and how to confirm your starting date.
In Dublin, EF offers 3 types of accommodation that is only available for students and for dependants that are going to study:
Host family Single or Twin room
Living in a private home offers a warm and secure way to immerse yourself in the daily life of your new country. Daily contact with your hosts will enrich your understanding of local culture and customs. Many of our host families have hosted EF students for a number of years. Most host families live in the residential areas around Dublin City and the travel distance to school will be approx 35-45 minutes by public transportation. The travel distance is normal in the Western world and you will get used to it. The host family offers breakfast & dinner daily. We offer the following types of host family:
-host family Single room: stay in a single room – price is 520 Euro/month
-host family twin room: stay in a twin room (twin bed) and share with another student – price is 400 Euro/month
Residence Quad room (4 students in one room)
Address: Lad Lane/Cumberland Road, Dublin 2, Ireland. Ideal location in Dublin’s city centre 3 mins walk to school and close to DART-station (local train). 1-bedroom apartments with quad bedrooms and 4 EF students share an apartment (1 bedroom, 1 Living room/lounge with dining area, equipped with TV, Kitchenette, with microwave, oven, water kettle, bathroom, one bathroom per apartment, WiFi throughout building, no meals included. €150 deposit, to be paid on first day of school. The price for 1 month in the residence EURO 520.
Hotel accommodation:
The EF accommodation (host family or residence) is only available from Sunday – one day prior to course start. In case you arrive earlier you should contact a hotel and do a hotel room booking. Below is a list of hotels in Dublin:

Single Occupancy Sun – Thurs inclusive:
€70.00 Bed & Breakfast per single room per night
€65.00 Room Only per night
Twin Occupancy Sun – Thurs inclusive:
€80.00 Bed & Breakfast per twin/double room per night
€65.00 Room Only per night
Fri/Sat night rate would depend on availability and would vary, but they would offer their best available rate at that time, which is generally a room only rate.
