We are pleased to inform you that the Examination committee of University College Maastricht has
decided to conditionally accept you as a student of the premed program. This program stafts in
March 2010.
Before you can start the premed program you will need to provide us with proof of sufficient level
of English. Please send us a certified copy of your IELTS or TOEFL score. You need to score at least
a 5.0 on the IELTS or a 64 or higher on the internetbased TOEFL exam (or an *****alent score).
The premed program will prepare you for a study of medicine at Maastricht University. You will
have to pass the different parts of the premed program successfully to be able to start your
medicine studies. You will need to obtain a score of 6.0 on your IELTS exam, obtain a pass for your
life science courses, pass the skills training course and obtain a passing grade for your professional
behaviour. The premed program will last one year.
