Thank you for contacting the Perth Offshore Student Processing centre
(POSPC).
PLEASE NOTE - UPDATE ON NEW PROCESSING PROCEDURES
UNLESS REQUESTED, A COPY OF FULL PASSPORT, EMPLOYMENT AND EDUCATION
HISTORY DETAILS ARE NOT REQUIRED, ONLY A SCANNED COLOURED COPY OF THE
APPLICANT/S BIOPAGE IS NOW REQUIRED WHICH CAN BE ATTACHED TO THE
APPLICATION AT LODGEMENT.
Your email has been forwarded to a processing officer who will endeavour to
respond to your enquiry within two (2) working days. POSPC decides over 75%
of e-lodged student visa applications (lodged complete, with all key
documents attached and health assessments finalised) within fourteen (14)
days of lodgement. Australian public holidays, such as those during late
December and April, may affect our ideal response times and we ask that you
be patient during these periods.
Standard checking procedures:
Please be advised that the Australian Government requires all persons
entering Australia to hold valid visas. As part of visa processing,
various checks must be undertaken prior to visa grant. In some instances
the checking process may take longer than agreed service standards. Our
office is not always provided with details on why the checking process is
delayed. However you can be assured that your application is actively
being assessed and you will be advised by email as soon as an outcome is
achieved.
Progress reports:
If you are seeking a progress report on your application, please check the
eVisa Query Application Status (QAS) service at
https://www.ecom.immi.gov.au/inquiry...o?action=eVisa .The
service provides instant feedback on aspects of the application that have
been finalised as well as links to forms that may need to be downloaded and
printed. Please check this page prior to sending an email, as all progress
milestones will be reflected on the QAS site.
Health:
You may be required to complete health assessments in support of your
student visa application. Further information on the relevant forms and
where to find health-related information is provided below in the ‘useful
links’ section. Health assessments must be completed by Panel Drs (details
below at useful links). Please ensure that you read the associated
instructions carefully as we are unable to provide refunds for health
examination fees if your application is refused.
Scanning and sending supporting documents:
You may also be required to provide scans of other supporting evidence, for
example passports, birth certificates, marriage certificates, death
certificates, civil/family status documents, confirmation of enrolment for
dependent children over six years of age etc. You may either attach the
electronic scans to the application or forward by email. When scanning
documents, applicants should ensure that the information is clear, i.e. in
full colour and of high quality (300 dpi). Plesae ensure that you scan
original documents not copies of the original. DIAC prefers documents to
be saved in pdf format. Further information on attaching documents to a
student eVisa application is available at:
Attach Documents to a Student Visa Application
You may attach these documents to your eVisa application using your unique
TRN and personal identifier information at:
https://www.ecom.immi.gov.au/visas/a...N&group=travel
If your enquiry does not relate to a Student visa or relates to a visa
programme managed by another section, we will forward your enquiry to an
appropriate officer as soon as possible.
