Dear Haifa,

Thank you for your inquiry about the English Language Center at the University of Denver! We offer full time intensive English courses each quarter. Each of our quarters last 10 weeks and during each quarter, there are various tests, projects, activities and field trips.

ELC students must have an F1 or J1 visa to study at the ELC.

Spring 2013 quarter: March 26th – June 6th, 2013 (Open)
Summer 2013 quarter: June 12th- August 15th, 2013 (Open)
Fall 2013 quarter: September – November, 2013 (Open)
Tuition and Fees for each quarter is $3,768 and we ask that when you provide a financial guarantee when turning in your application, you show that you have $7,968 for EACH quarter in your account. If you will be sponsored by an embassy or any other scholarship we will need an original copy of that letter stating that these funds will be covered for the duration of your study. For housing you are responsible to find your own accommodation. We can provide you with a list of apartments in the area if you wish to find one.

You can print out an application and mail it in or apply directly online. In order to process your application you will need to also send in a $75 application fee, a copy of the name page of your passport, and an original letter of financial guarantee. The financial guarantee must be an original letter from the bank verifying that you have the necessary funds to cover the duration of your study or an original letter of scholarship or support from an embassy or other organization that may be sponsoring your study.
If you would like to transfer from another school in the United States, please send a copy of your I-20 and visa.
